How do you know our food is authentic and high quality? Because it is made from fresh market produce, and cooked by experienced North-Indian native chefs.

We incorporate traditional subcontinental herbs and spices in all our dishes, to bring you vibrant flavours from all parts of India.

Established in 1997, Taj Agra was born from a love of authentic North Indian flavours and a love for cooking. From humble beginnings in Oatley Court, Belconnen, word of Taj Agra’s food quickly got around town – and we have now also been serving up delicious food in Dickson since 2004. Although our family has been operating the restaurant now for over 20 years, our passion for serving up some of the best modern-Indian cuisine in Canberra hasn’t wavered.

The name Taj Agra is inspired from the Taj Mahal, a monument of love and beauty, built by emperor Shah Jahan. In the same way, our food is always made with love and care.
